Discovering the secrets of the real Florence
Home |

Art and culture, renaissance and beauty. Florence is a timeless city, teeming with history and masterpieces. There are just so many things to see and places to visit that one weekend is not enough, not at all. Whenever you come back here, there will always be another museum to discover, or another work of art to admire.

At the top of the city

Along Via delle Porte Sante, we have one of the most representative symbols of Romanesque art: the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte. Over one thousand years of history and spirituality make it a unique location with a truly sacred atmosphere.
So much art, then, in all its forms, but also enchanting lush nature developing in many corners of the city, like the Bardini Garden, well worth a pleasant stop-off.

Food & Drink and Traditions

Alongside the extraordinary culture which Florence has to offer, there is also another equally important aspect: the exquisite local cuisine, served up splendidly by the city’s traditional trattorias, with local dishes like ribollita [Tuscan bread soup] and bistecca alla Fiorentina steak. Furthermore, at every Tuscan lunch or dinner worth its name, you can always taste Chianti or other local wines, to complete this amazing experience.
