Nine VRetreats facilities have obtained GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) certification, which is committed to promoting sustainability and social responsibility in the tourism sector, maximizing its benefits and minimizing its impact.
The GSTC certification, initiated by the UN based on the 17 goals defined in the Agenda for Sustainable Development, is internationally recognized and is based on third-party assessments to ensure compliance with social, economic, and environmental requirements. This approach enhances the value of the territory, culture, and local products, works to reduce consumption and waste, promotes recycling, and addresses many other aspects aimed at protecting the planet.
